Matt

Bass

Growing up, Matt’s first love was for the drums, in fact he still attempts to play them from time to time, but at the age of thirteen that all changed when he inherited a Fender Musicmaster bass guitar from his older brother Marc.  Shortly after that, he began jamming with a group of high school buddies, that at times included Russell.  The jam sessions lead to the formation of Iron Fist, which was the premier metal band of the four-states area throughout the 80’s.  Returning to Parsons in 1991, he was reunited with Russell, who had just been paroled from the Vegas club scene.  Informal jams at Matt’s house renewed their interest in the classic rock and Rhythm & Blues   they grew up listening to, and the rest, as they say, is history.

“I’ve been fortunate that in my limited playing career I’ve had the opportunity to work with some of the best musicians in the Midwest.”
